I am going to tell you my 3 best smoothie recipes that are easy and quick to whip up and get you prepared for a day!

These smoothies are part of your five a day, keeping your brain ticking all day long, your body feeling healthy and refreshed and more benefits, yet they are so easy to make!

Tasty apple raspberry smoothie.

Ingredients
It only requires a few healthy ingredients to make this amazing drink, including;
2 apples, cored we recommend green apples.
150 grams of frozen raspberries
150ml of natural yogurt
2 tbsp of porridge oats
½ lemon, juiced
100ml of milk

Easy steps to follow!
It is so easy to make this smoothie, it takes about 2 minutes yet it is super tasty! All you have to do is weigh out your ingredients and chop them up, small enough to make it blend easier but not too small it will blend too much! Pop them all in a blender or smoothie maker and blitz the ingredients together until it is all smooth, like a smoothie consistency! If you feel it is too thick add in a splash or water or milk and keep blending it. If you feel it is too thin then add in a few more frozen raspberry’s!

Pour your fruity smoothie into a glass and pop a straw in and enjoy! You will now feel refreshed for the rest of the day!

Refreshing green breakfast juice!

This next recipe is full off greens, getting your blood flowing! You might hear many people rave on about how healthy green smoothies are, which is in fact true! Green smoothies are a great source of B vitamins. The B vitamins found in leafy greens, like folate, vitamin B6, and niacin, help your body release energy from food and can promote a healthy nervous system. Not to mention it is delicious as well!

ingredients!
1 handful spinach (about 50 grams or 2oz), roughly chopped
100 grams of broccoli florets, roughly chopped
2 celery sticks
4 tbsp desiccated coconut
1 banana
300ml of rice milk (good dairy alternative – we used one from Rude Health)
¼ tsp spirulina or 1 scoop of greens powder or vegan protein powder (optional)

method
Similar to the last smoothie, all you have to do is weigh out your ingredients and chop and prepare them for your blender, chuck them all in a blender or maker and whizz them with 300ml of extra water to get it that nice, smooth, juice texture! Again if need be add water or a little more spinach if it needs adapted!

Pour it into a glass (I like mine with a bit of ice added into it as well) with a straw and your green, healthy, refreshing juice is ready to serve!
